Prince Caspian Coming Soon!

The trailer for Prince Caspian was released today. I can hardly contain myself, I am so excited. I know that the movies will NEVER live up to the books, but seeing my all-time favorite books come to life on the big screen is still a thrilling event. I really did enjoy The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, but I was very disappointed that they did not develop Aslan's character more in line with the books. I am very picky about how Aslan is represented because it was C.S. Lewis' fictional portrayal of Jesus through Aslan that lead me to a very real understanding and a major turning point in my faith. Anyway, the trailer looks great and I'm hoping the movie will go more into depth about Aslan.....Enjoy!

Leo, I have been on that kooky site before and others like it. People really do have too much time on their hands. The people who run the Balaam’s Ass site seem to be suffering from a full blown case of judgmental hysteria, brought on by extreme paranoia, fear of the subtle expression of art, out of context evidence manipulated to support hasty and somewhat delusional assumptions, and an out-of-control God-complex in which they believe to be able see into the heart of man and condemn others to hell, an ability reserved SOLELY to God.

Anyone who understands literary metaphors and symbolism IN CONTEXT, can decipher the message of the Chronicles of Narnia. You don’t have to like Narnia, as much as it has impacted my life and brought me closer to the Lord, it is just a story. It’s not a requirement for believers to experience, but it’s also not evil for believers to enjoy it and support through reading the books or viewing the movie. Each believer should go in the way THE SPIRIT leads. But this crusading mentality demonstrated through hasty heresy accusations, name-calling, and mudslinging by the Balaam’s Ass people is judgmental, inaccurate, and grossly irresponsible. Aren’t there worse things in the world to get our panties in a bunch about other than fictitious children’s books?
